SaluTips Partner Program | QR Code Referrals

SaluTips partner program

Become a SaluTips partner and help service professionals accept tips via QR code

You do not have to receive tips yourself. Share SaluTips with servers, baristas, salon professionals, drivers, guides, hotel staff, delivery workers and other service professionals using a QR code, a printed card or a referral code. If the invited user signs up and becomes active under the program rules, you may receive a referral share.

You do not have to receive tips yourself to participate

SaluTips is not only for people who receive tips themselves. If you often visit cafés, salons, hotels or use taxis, or if you know service professionals, you can recommend SaluTips as a partner. A referral share may be available when the invited user signs up, starts receiving tips through SaluTips and becomes active under the program rules.

As a partner

You may not receive tips yourself. Your role is to spot situations where people lose tips because customers do not have cash, and show SaluTips with a QR code, a card, a referral code or a short message.

As a service professional

If you work with customers, you can connect your SaluTips QR code, receive tips and also recommend the service to colleagues or people you know in service roles.

For the invited user

The invited person receives their own SaluTips QR code so customers can leave tips even without cash. They choose separately and voluntarily whether to join the referral program.

How a partner may receive a benefit

The partner does not have to receive tips personally. The potential benefit is a referral share for active invitations: when an invited user signs up, starts receiving tips through SaluTips and meets the program conditions.

Different individuals in the service economy use SaluTips across a cafe, hotel, salon and driver or guide context

You can start with one A4 sheet

A partner recommendation does not have to feel like a sales pitch. Sometimes a clear card, a short message or a QR code on a phone is enough — in the place where it can genuinely help a service professional.

1

Print cards

One A4 sheet can become several small cards with a QR code or referral code. They are easy to pass to a salon professional, barista, driver, guide or hotel team member.

2

Leave a clear message

The strongest message is not abstract advertising, but a real customer situation: you wanted to tip more, but did not have cash.

Thank you for the service! I left €1, but I would have liked to tip more — I didn’t have cash. With a QR code for tips, it would have been easier.

Version without an amount: “Thank you for the service! I would have liked to tip more, but I didn’t have cash. With a QR code for tips, it would have been easier.”
3

Share the QR code where appropriate

Show the QR code on your phone, hand over a card in person or send a short message to a service professional you know. Leave cards only where this does not violate the venue’s rules.

How to pass on a card

A partner does not need a long pitch. It is enough to briefly show the problem that QR code tipping can solve.

In a café or restaurant

“Thank you for the service. I would have liked to tip more, but I didn’t have cash. With a QR code for tips, it would have been easier.”

In a taxi or transfer

“Customers often pay by card and leave no tip simply because they don’t have cash. With a QR code for tips, it would be easier — take a look at SaluTips.”

In a salon or with a specialist

“After the service, a customer may want to thank you. A QR code for tips makes it quick and cashless.”

To someone you know in services

“You work with customers, so a QR code for tips could be useful. And if you want, SaluTips also has a referral program.”

How it works

How a recommendation becomes active

A card or QR code does not create a referral share by itself. The recommendation has to lead to a real signup and use of SaluTips under the program conditions.

1

You show your QR code or referral code

The QR code is the main way to open SaluTips quickly and connect the signup to the inviting participant. The code is an additional identifier where it is available in the product.

2

The person signs up through your QR code

The invited user opens SaluTips through your QR code or referral code and can start registration as an individual.

3

The link and participation are confirmed

The referral relationship is counted only after the invitation is linked correctly and the person voluntarily agrees to participate in the program.

4

They start receiving tips by QR code

A successful referral is tied not to handing out a card, but to meeting the program conditions, including a first eligible tip transaction.

5

A share may be applied under the rules

If the invitation becomes active, the referral share may be distributed for a limited period under the current program terms.

From one card to an active team

One first contact in a real service team may lead to more than one user. If a person signs up through your QR code and later shows SaluTips to colleagues, the recommendation can begin to grow inside the team.

For example: restaurant, café, salon, hotel or transfer.

In each place, one person signed up through your QR code.

30

up to 30 colleagues counted as Level 2

If the first users show SaluTips to colleagues, and those colleagues sign up, start receiving tips through SaluTips and become active under the program rules, they may be counted as your Level 2.

The first participants showed SaluTips to colleagues, and some colleagues signed up, started receiving tips and became active under the program rules.

5 × 100 EUR/day in tips through SaluTips × 5% + 15 × 100 EUR/day in tips through SaluTips × 3%

70 EUR/day
Important: this is an example calculation, not a promise of income. If colleagues register through the first user’s QR code, they may be counted as your Level 2. If they register directly through your QR code, they are counted as your Level 1. The actual amount depends on the number of active users, their tip volume through SaluTips, and compliance with the Referral Program Agreement and Referral Rates.

Two levels

How the invitation chain works

The chain is built from registration through a QR code or code. First, a person signs up through the inviting participant’s QR code. Then, if that participant shares their own QR code and another person signs up through it, the next relationship level may appear.

L1

Signup through the inviter’s QR code

A new user scans the QR code or enters the code of a specific participant during registration. That participant becomes the direct inviting level.

L2

Signup through the first level QR code

If the Level 1 participant shares their own QR code and another person signs up through it, the original inviter may have the next relationship level.

R

Active downstream user

Money in the chain does not come from registration itself. It becomes relevant when someone downstream starts receiving tips through SaluTips and meets the program conditions.

Level chains apply only within the current program terms. If the relationship does not exist, is inactive or the downstream user does not become active under the program rules, distribution may not apply.

Important

The program remains voluntary

The referral program complements SaluTips, but it does not replace normal use of the service and does not create obligations between participants. A recommendation should be appropriate and honest.

No obligation to participate

A user can use SaluTips without the referral program. Participation starts only after explicit consent.

Share only in an active chain

A handed card or partner registration does not create a referral share by itself. A share may exist when an invited person or downstream participant starts receiving tips and meets the program conditions.

No pressure or spam

Cards, QR codes and messages should be used only where appropriate. Do not mislead people, promise guaranteed income or violate the rules of the place.

No employment relationship

Participation in the program does not create employment, subordination, agency or representation. SaluTips does not set schedules, targets or quotas.

FAQ

Short answers about who can participate, what to do in practice and where to check the exact terms.

Do I have to receive tips myself?

No. You can participate as a partner and recommend SaluTips to service professionals. A referral share may be available if invited users meet the program conditions.

Who can I recommend SaluTips to?

Servers, baristas, salon professionals, drivers, guides, hotel staff, housekeeping staff, delivery workers, seasonal workers and other individuals who work with customers and can receive tips or appreciation via QR code.

Can I invite someone who also wants to be a partner?

Yes. The person can sign up through your QR code or referral code and then share their own QR code as a partner. But a referral share appears only when that person, or someone below them in the chain, becomes an active user: starts receiving tips through SaluTips and meets the program conditions.

Can I simply leave a card?

Yes, if it is appropriate and does not violate the venue’s rules. For example, you can leave a card with a tip or hand it personally to a service professional. It is important not to promise guaranteed income.

What should I write on the card?

Briefly explain the real benefit: “I would have liked to tip more, but I didn’t have cash. With a QR code for tips, it would have been easier.”

When is a recommendation credited?

When the registration is correctly linked to the QR code or referral code, and the invited user meets the conditions of a successful referral, including an eligible tip transaction through SaluTips.

How much does it cost to start?

For the first step, it is enough to open your QR code or referral code in SaluTips and prepare a few cards. One A4 sheet can become several small cards.

Can a service professional also be a partner?

Yes. They can receive tips through their SaluTips QR code and also recommend the service to colleagues or people they know if they want to participate in the referral program.

Is payment guaranteed?

No. A referral share is possible only when the program conditions are met. Payments, checks, refunds, disputes and limitations may affect the availability of funds.

Who is responsible for taxes?

The participant independently checks their tax and social obligations in their country of residence.

Where can I see the exact rates and fees?

In the current Referral Program Agreement and Referral Rates in the SaluTips app. This marketing page explains the program principle, but does not replace the full terms.
